These Terms govern your use of the MyCastle iOS app (“MyCastle”, “the App”), provided by trend-sights (“we”, “us”).

1) What MyCastle is

MyCastle is a discovery app about Swiss castles. It combines a navigable map, curated descriptions, real photos, and optional AI-assisted answers to help you learn about architecture, history, and folklore.

2) What MyCastle is not

• It is not a social network. Users do not exchange data with each other inside the App.
• It is not professional advice (travel, legal, safety, or otherwise).

3) AI answers: useful, not infallible

Some responses may be generated with text-based AI. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate, especially with nuanced history. Please use it as a starting point and, when needed, cross-check with trusted sources.

You agree not to submit sensitive personal data in prompts. The App is meant for castle-related questions.

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to:

• Attempting to reverse engineer or disrupt the App or its services.
• Using automated systems to overload endpoints or scrape content at scale.
• Violating applicable laws or infringing the rights of others.

5) Content and intellectual property

The App’s interface, design, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes unless we explicitly grant additional rights.

6) Third-party services

The App may use third-party providers such as Singular (attribution/analytics) and OneSignal (push notifications). Your use of the App may be subject to those services’ terms and policies as applicable.

7) Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it stable and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every description will be perfectly complete.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, trend-sights will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App.

9) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to inform you within the App or on this page.
